A downloadable game

Found this floppy disk in my garage, figured I'd upload the files here for anyone who knows what it is...

The Floppy Disk

This is a small, unofficial "fangame" for Half-Life VR but the AI is Self-Aware! I made this for a friend over the course of about a month (because I'm horrible at game dev). Fangame in quotes because it's much more of an interactive narrative than a real game-game. It's based on (spoilers) Coomer's final message, and there are many secrets to find throughout. Dialogue often repeats itself, but if you look closely, you'll find more than 20 different conversations (and an "ending"). I might continue to update the server_hub when I find some time. Enjoy, or don't, I'm not your parent, I can't tell you what to do.

Any bugs are uhhhhhhhhhh intentional. Sure, intentional.

this was awesome!!! haven't seen the ending yet but i really really like it, the technically kind of real c++ code with the comments was really silly and the character writing was super accurate

aw thanks!!

i just had to make an account to comment on this, this is so cool! i'm a huge hlvrai fan, and this wasn't out last time i looked up fangames, so seeing this made my night. i love the format of this, it's super interesting. i haven't been able to find secrets or different conversations yet, but i'm trying to! this is super cool, thank you.

1 hour later, i've reached what i believe is the "ending" the description talked about. it was a super fun experience and i couldn't help getting a little bit emotional. I understand this was made for a friend? so i'd like to thank you for sharing it with a public as well. this was a lot of fun and i hope Edward enjoyed it as much as i did.

Thank you so much for the kind words!!
